POP® Rivet

Emhart POP® Blind Riveting is the leader in commercial riveting. POP® produces many types of Blind Breakstem Rivets. The term "blind rivet" refers to installation from one side of your work. Typically you have no access to the backside of your assembly.

POP makes MultiGrip® Open End, Easy Entry®, Soft Set, Micro, LSR, Closed End, F Series®, Self Plugger, T Rivets® and Ultra Grip® Rivets. The newest addition to the POP® product line is the Double Countersunk Rivets. This innovative POP® Rivet allows for use in limited clearance application such as ball bearing slides attached into Computer Server Racks, Filing Cabinets and Metal Tool Chests. Micro Rivets are available from 2mm diameter for telecom and miniature applications.

Installation tooling includes all the traditional tools, PRG510/540, MCS 510/540 and 5400. New additions to the POP Tool lines are the Proset™ 2100 with Mandrel Collection System (MCS), inline PRT/MCS 520A POP tools for suspension from above the work area, Rivet Presenter to increase speed of assembly, Point & Set® Systems to radically improve installation speeds through complete automation, and AutoSet™ which feeds rivets to the tool on a tape system. This allows 2 second cycle time for each POP® Rivet.
