 Emhart Teknologies continues its commitment to bring exceptional new products to the marketplace.  Today, we announce the introduction of the new ProSet^® 3400 Power Rivet Tool which complements the existing ProSet^® 1600 and 2500 models.

The ProSet^® 3400 tool offers an extraordinary 4,160 lb force in a lightweight configuration. The advanced ergonomic design offers innovative easy-to-operate and easy-to-maintain features.

Every new ProSet^® 3400 Tool is equipped with all nosepieces and jaws necessary to set 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16” and ¼” in all materials including Stainless Steel and High Strength rivets. The comfortable ergonomic design of the 3400 Series offers our users many important advantages including:

·         Highest force-to-weight ratio in its class (993 lbf/lb - 4160 lb force in only 4.19 lb).

·         1.02” (26mm) Stroke.

·         Quick-disconnect Nose Housing and Jaw Case; Easy-to-Service Jaws and Front End components (no tools required!).

·         Quick-disconnect MCS Cup and direction-able air exhaust (MCS model).

·         Two finger, low activation trigger.

·         Innovative left or right, On/Off, 360º swivel air fitting.

·         Spring return for fast and reliable setting cycle.

·         POP^® Rivet Presenter, remote mandrel collector system and corner heads compatible.

·         Optional 7.9” extended front end nose housing.

The new ProSet^® 3400 series replaces the POP^® 5400 tool series which remains available through December 30, 2008.  (Spare parts for the 5400 tool models will be supported for 5 years.)
